Once upon a time the kingdom of beauty, colour co-ordinating matchy matchy were a big fashion no!no!Matching your lipstick to your outfit is no longer a fashion faux, infact! runways and red carpet shows have been showing celebrities rocking lips, perfectly matched to their fabulous dresses.
Everything is good, in moderation. If you are going to coordinate your lips with your outfit, leave it at that.
That means no matching nail polish, eye-shadow or the likes. Keeping it simple will make your lips pop, resulting in a sexy look that does not go overboard.
Leave the rest of your face minimal. In particular, make sure not to overdo your eyes. After all, no one wants to look like a clown! To keep them in line with your bright lips, make sure to use a few coats of rich, black mascara, but limit your eye shadow to a sheer, neutral color.
Prepare your lips. To prevent lip color from bleeding, apply foundation to your lips first, then line with a neutral, lip-colored liner before applying your outfit-matching hue (or any other hue for that matter!).
